FAQ

BEFORE YOUR SHOOT

Before you shoot with us for the first time, you ask you sign our liability waiver. We will email it to you after your booking. Once you’ve signed the waiver, you’ll be set for all bookings moving forward. You may arrive 15 min. early for your shoot, but if there is a shoot before you, we ask for you to wait to enter until your scheduled time.

AFTER YOUR SHOOT

After your shoot, please place all props/equipment back in original location, place trash in trash bin or carry to larger trash bin outside of back of building. Take all personal belongings with you, and turn off lights. Please be courteous of shoots after you and make sure to exit when your reservation time is up. lock the PRIVATE ENTRANCE doors behind you!

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME OF DAY TO SHOOT?

There is even natural light pouring into THE LOFT AND THE WINDOW ROOM. Our spaces are big enough that regardless of what type of light you need, you should be able to find it any time of day. THE STUDIO ROOM IS LOCATED IN THE BASEMENT WHERE THERE IS NO WINDOW LIGHT.

CAN I SHOOT VIDEO IN FOXTROT?

Absolutely! We do highly recommend, however, that you let us know at booking so we can accommodate to make sure there is nothing else happening in the building so you can have control over sound quality.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY SHOOT/EVENT RUNS OVER MY SCHEDULED TIME?

If you are late leaving the studio or do not leave enough time to clean up, we will unfortunately have to charge you for an additional hour AS A cleaning fee. More often than not, there will be someone scheduled before or after your reservation. Please plan for set up and clean up time within your reservation. we ask that you leave enough time at the end of your reservation to clean up.

DOES MY RESERVATION INCLUDE ANY EQUIPMENT?

Yes! If you're interested in learning what specifically comes with booking, we can schedule a tour. We currently do not provide any type of lighting or food and drink (other than bottled water), but you are welcome to bring in anything you will need during your shoot. We have blankets, throws, decorative pillows, white sheets, white king-size comforter, chairs, couches, plants, mirrors etc. Anything in the SPACE is available to use. Please feel free to email us if you have any other questions about our supplies, props or equipment.

I NEED TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE. WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

While we do not offer refunds for cancellations, we can help you reschedule your reservation for free. We ask that you give us 24 hrs notice FOR NON-EVENTS/PHOTOSHOOTS.
48 hours notice on events.

Guests can change or cancel their reservations with no additional charge. Upon cancellation, you will receive a credit for the amount of hours booked (if your booking was 1, 2, or 3 hours) or the dollar amount spent that can be applied towards a future BOOKINGS with us.

DOES THE SPACE HAVE ACCESS TO A BATHROOM?

Yes! YOU CAN ACCESS A BATHROOM IN EVERY SPACE.

CAN I BRING PETS?

We love pets, but WE DO NOT ALLOW PETS IN space.

WHAT IS PARKING LIKE?

Street parking only -- download the “Parkmobile” app for meter parking during the weekdays 8am-5pm. Street parking is FREE ON WEEKENDS AND WEEKDAYS AFTER 5PM. It is best to remove valuables from your car and lock your vehicles no matter where you are in the city.

DO YOU HAVE HANDICAP ACCESS?

WE have handicap access to the recording studio only.
THe loft, WINDOW ROOM AND STUDIO ROOM are only accessible by sTAIRS.

RESTRICTIONS

• All children must be supervised at all times.

• Candles must be in holders that prevent wax from dripping on surfaces.

• Fireworks (including sparklers) are prohibited.

• Nails, tacks or staples may not be used in the walls or woodwork. If tape is used, it must be painter’s tape.

• NO GLITTER.

Smoking is prohibited and within 25 feet of all building entrances, exits, windows and air take vents. Projects involving smoke machines must have our approval prior to BOOKING.

• No illicit drug use is permitted, and FOXTROT reserves the right to terminate the reservation immediately without refund if such activity occurs.

• Music or other sound must not be audible beyond the walls, doors, and windows.

• Set up and breakdown times must fall within the total reservation period reserved. It is the responsibility of Renter and its vendors to set up, breakdown, and move equipment and other items.

• Renter may not sublease the Studio to any third party.

• A FOXTROT representatives may monitor all activities and have the authority to enforce this Agreement. A FOXTROT representative may terminate the rental if Group breaches this Agreement or applicable local law.

Boudoir Photography

  Damage and Cleaning

You are responsible for any damage OCCURRED DURING BOOKING including spills, scratches, excessive wear, marks or stains on furniture, fixtures, floors, or painted surfaces. all furnishings and equipment therein must be left clean and in good condition, normal wear and tear excepted. Trash should be in trashcans, equipment returned to its proper place, and any larger trash disposed of in the outside dumpster oR SPECIFIED AREAS. If the Studio is not in the same condition when rented, Renter agrees to pay, as applicable (i) a minimum of a $100 cleaning fee (based on the amount of time required to clean at a rate of $100 per hour); and (ii) the cost to repair and replace any damage done to the SPACE and the furnishings and equipment therein caused the Group.

Please remember that prep and clean up are included in your reservation time. Book enough time for clean up. We want to maintain an atmosphere of professionalism. We encourage creative freedom for all creators. No smoking or drugs are permitted . Any use of these elements resulting in damage to the space or property will result in a fine up to $1000.

Once you access the Studio, if you feel there is damage to any of the furnishings, equipment, or Studio we should be aware of, please contact us immediately.

Late fees

The guest that books the space will be assessed a late fee. The late fee is calculated by how many minutes past the original reservation the guest or The Group associated with the event leaves the space. The rate is $10/minute every minute past the original reservation. The card on file will be charged the late fee the following day.

EVENTS

NON-EVENT/PHOTOSHOOTS bookinGS ARE not to be used for eventS. We ask that if you are hosting an event, private party, or workshop, book the event package. If you have more than 12 people in your shoot, please make sure to EMAIL US FOR APPROVAL.

Be courteous of those using the SPACE before and after you. We do offer tours depending on availability. We do not offer refunds for cancellations.
